Section 1
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ideal Bakery website (“Site”) or placing an order through our online store, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before making a purchase. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website at idealbakery.net. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Section 2
Products & Descriptions
We make every effort to display our bakery products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display of product colors, textures, or appearances will be completely accurate. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
All bakery items are made fresh and may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the handcrafted nature of our products. Availability of certain items is subject to change without notice.
Our products are perishable food items. Once received, they should be consumed or properly stored promptly in accordance with any instructions included in your package.

Ordering & Processing
Online orders may be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our website. Orders may also be placed by phone Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM CST, by calling (773) 631-6897.
Standard order fulfillment occurs on Mondays and Tuesdays. Additional shipments may be scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays based on order volume, carrier availability, and operational considerations. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase; your order is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.
- In the event of a pricing or product description error, we will notify you and provide the option to cancel or modify your order.
- We are not responsible for order errors caused by incorrect information submitted by the customer at checkout.
Section 4
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without prior notice. Applicable sales tax will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your delivery address.
Payments are processed securely through Square. We accept all major credit and debit cards supported by Square. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the full order amount, including applicable taxes and shipping fees.
Ideal Bakery does not store full payment card details on our servers. All payment data is handled by Square in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
Section 5
Shipping & Delivery
We ship via UPS Ground Delivery to addresses within the United States and its territories. The following restrictions apply:
- We do not ship to PO Boxes or Rural Routes.
- Shipping charges are based on current UPS rates and will be displayed at checkout prior to payment.
- Delivery estimates are based on business days and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, weather conditions, or public holidays.
- International shipping is not currently available.
Because our products are perishable, we strongly recommend that someone be available to receive the package at the delivery address. Ideal Bakery is not responsible for quality issues resulting from delayed retrieval of a delivered package.
During periods of extreme heat or cold, shipping perishable goods carries inherent risk. While we package items carefully to minimize temperature impact, we cannot guarantee product condition under severe weather conditions beyond our control.
Section 6
Tracking
Once your order is prepared and handed to UPS, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your UPS tracking number and order details.
You can track your shipment at any time by visiting ups.com/tracking and entering your tracking number. Ideal Bakery is not responsible for inaccuracies in tracking information provided by UPS.
Section 7
Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, we stand behind the quality of everything we ship.
If you receive a damaged, spoiled, or incorrect order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@idealbakery.net or (773) 631-6897. Please include your order number and photographs documenting the issue.
- Eligible claims may result in a replacement shipment or store credit, at our discretion.
- Refunds are not provided for issues arising from an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer.
- We are not responsible for product quality issues caused by UPS delivery delays or failure to promptly retrieve packages.
Section 8
Food Safety & Allergens
Our products are produced in a facility that handles common allergens, including but not limited to: wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts (including peanuts and tree nuts), soy, and sesame. Cross-contamination is possible. We cannot guarantee that any product is entirely free from allergens.
Customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions are encouraged to contact us directly before placing an order. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with allergens in a shared production environment.
Ideal Bakery is not liable for allergic reactions resulting from consumption of our products where allergen information has been made available upon request.

Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, product photographs, and website design — is the property of Ideal Bakery Chicago and is protected by applicable U.S. copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without our prior written consent.
Section 10
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ideal Bakery, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, products, or services.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of our products for any particular purpose beyond their intended use as food items.
Section 11
Privacy & Data
Your privacy matters to us. Personal information you provide during checkout — such as your name, address, email address, and phone number — is used solely to process and fulfill your order and to communicate with you about your purchase. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
By using our Site, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Our use of Square for payment processing means that some transactional data is also governed by Squares’s privacy policy.
Section 12
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
